Team Chicago Academy-Internacional defender Tati Espinoza has accepted a great scholarship offer to continue her soccer career at University of North Dakota. Tati, who plays her prep soccer for Head Coach Joe Moreau at Neuqua Valley H.S., will be part of the 2015 recruiting class for UND Head Coach Matt Kellogg.

UND is a member of the NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference.

Team Chicago-Vitoria finished runners-up in the U11 Girls Super A division at the Puma Cup Challenge in Rockford this past weekend. En-route to the championship match the girls beat two-time defending IWSL A Division Champions TCSA Premier Black in a 3-2 shootout after the game finished 1-1.

Team Chicago Academy-Cruzeiro winger Kerry Abello is headed to the U.S. Soccer Federation U15 National Team Camp next week. The camp will be held at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA from April 19th through April 26th.

Congrats Kerry! We are so proud of you.

Team Chicago Academy-Cruzeiro got off to a perfect start in the U14 Girls Midwest Regional League Premier I Division this weekend.

On Saturday morning the team defeated Cincinnati Soccer Alliance 5-0 behind goals by Kerry Abello (2), Jordan King, Riley O’Brien, and Alyssa Bombacino.

On Saturday evening Cruzeiro defeated Michigan Rush Northville 1-0 on Alyssa Bombacino’s 2nd goal of the day. Bailee Witt earned the 2 shutouts in goal behind a strong defense of Katie Wieland, Emma Rydholm, Sarah Avery, Sofia Papoutsis, and Kaitlyn Mauder. The team has now conceded a measly 2 goals in the past 13 competitive games.
